Bob founded Murphy McCormack Capital Advisors in 2005 after a successful career in financial services.  He is the former president & chief executive officer of SunBank, a regional financial services company with more than $1 Billion in assets.  As CEO, he negotiated and implemented numerous acquisitions.  With more than 25 years of financial services experience, Bob also has extensive financing expertise and contacts. 

As a former head of commercial lending and as a former commercial loan relationship manager, Bob witnessed first-hand the need in the market for professional merger & acquisition services and transition planning assistance, particularly with privately-held, middle market companies.  This led him to establish Murphy McCormack Capital Advisors.

Bob has attained the designations of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M & AMI), and Certified Business Intermediary.

Sandra J. Miller, CBI

Sandy joined Murphy McCormack Capital Advisors in 2006 after a rewarding career in commercial banking.  She is the former executive vice president and chief banking officer of SunBank, a regional financial services company with more than $1 Billion in assets.  Sandy also held key marketing/sales positions with other financial services companies including Keystone Financial and Federated Investors.  Her career has also included experience with manufacturing and distribution companies.

Sandy has attained the designation of Certified Business Intermediary, and is in the process of working toward the Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M & AMI) designation.

 

David W. Wimer, M&AMI

Dave is a finance and operations executive with expertise in privately-held business in the areas of growth, succession, exit, critical transition and enterprise transformation.  His strategic M & A skills include target analysis, leading negotiations, deal point design, institutional structuring, and corporate finance modeling.  Dave has served as executive officer leading three successful turnarounds for owners of privately-held companies with revenues from $15MM to $110MM.  He is the author of Insight: Business Advice in an Age of Complexity.  

Dave has attained the designation of Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M & AMI).

Lawrence M. Kluger

Larry is an experienced middle market business operator. He was president of Journal Multimedia, a diversified media company, which was sold in May 2016 to New Media Investment Group (NEWM). Prior to that he was president and CEO of Winemiller Communications, a manufacturer of broadcast communications vehicles and microwave technology equipment. In that role he orchestrated the turnaround and ultimate sale of that company. He has strong financial, analytical and negotiating skills, all of which serve him well when representing clients.

Larry is a graduate of St. Lawrence University, the Wharton Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania and he is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. 

    

Michael A. Mullen

Michael is an experienced organizational and strategic management leader with a specialization in finance and management. For the past 15 years, he acted as the President of North American Operations for SFS Group USA, Inc., a publicly held manufacturer of metal and plastic components. Michael was also an owner and the CFO/Vice President, Finance at Construction Fasteners, Inc. for 16 years until SFS’s acquisition of the company in 2001.

Michael graduated from Boston college in 1973 and currently resides in Reading, Pennsylvania.
