                Bob founded Murphy McCormack after a successful career in financial services.  Bob is the former chief executive officer of SunBank, a regional financial services company.  As CEO, Bob negotiated and implemented numerous acquisitions.  With more than 20 years financial experience, Bob also has extensive financing expertise and access to varied financing sources, a benefit to both buyers and sellers.

Jack Willoughby, CBI                                                     Partner

                Jack brings a strong manufacturing and distribution, consumer products and wood-related industries background to the Murphy McCormack team.  Jack previously served as executive vice president for Pennsylvania House Furniture, leading the finance, information technology, manufacturing and customer service areas of the company after spending several years as the Chief Financial Officer.  Jack has experience as both a buyer and a seller.

Sandra J. Miller, CBI                                                       Partner

                Sandy has more than 20 years of marketing and financial services experience.  She served as executive vice president for SunBank with responsibility for marketing, sales and training.  She has also held key marketing and sales positions with other financial services entities including Keystone Financial, Inc. and Federated Investors, Inc., and has experience with manufacturing and distribution companies.

Daniel J. Mignogna, Jr.                                                 Partner

                Dan is an experienced business and merger & acquisition executive.  His background includes various operational and management positions with AMP, Inc., where he served as Director of Corporate Development with global M & A responsibilities.  Dan also served for five years as Vice President, Business Development for a Citicorp Venture Capital private equity company and later owned and operated an independant mergers and acquisitions firm focusing on mid-market companies in the Eastern US.

Kathleen “Katie” Smarilli                                            Partner

                Katie is a successful executive leader with significant knowledge and expertise in the financial services industry.  Most recently, Katie was regional president for Wachovia Bank’s seven county Central Pennsylvania market, which included direct leadership of the retail and commercial segments as well as indirect leadership of the brokerage, mortgage, wealth and government banking segments.  Katie has been recognized with the Athena Award from the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business Award from the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development.

Joseph J. Joyce, Jr.                                                      Vice President

                Joe has more than 20 years of business experience, with expertise in financial services, relationship management, commercial banking and strategic planning.  Most recently, he served as president and chief executive officer of Peoples State Bank of Wyalusing.  His previous employment included leadership positions with Northern State Bank, Northern Central Bank/Keystone Financial and CoreStates Financial.  During his 20 years in financial services, Joe has consistently served the needs of small and middle market business throughout northern and central Pennsylvania and the southern tier of New York.
